Who doesn't love pictures of taste-bud enticing, scrumptious looking food? Better yet, food that is easy to make and simple to serve! This beauty was baked and photographed by the talented and lovely Erin Gleeson of The Forest Feast. I could sit on her blog for hours, bookmarking recipes and drooling over my keyboard as my "to make" list grows longer.
I love to cook and bake. But honestly, if there is any way to convince a non-baker, non-cooker to get to the kitchen and practice, Erin has done it here with her creative layouts, simple design and basic instructions - all tied together with lovely photos to guide you in your endeavor.
What a great recipe for your end of summertime parties, bake sales or family shin digs. And with peaches still readily available at the grocery (hey, if I have them down here in Puerto Rico, I know you have them up there!), this will certainly be a delightful treat for any occasion.
And I cannot help myself by share more of her lovely creations.
She has recently made her home in Northern California, a place I visited this summer as part of a two-week long adventure to the US West Coast. I fell in love with this area of California; I can certainly understand why so many people love it. You are surrounded by succulents, wildflowers, tall green trees, edible plants and herbs and the climate is just delightful for gardening and homesteading. Honestly, if my marine science career leads me to the Pacific Ocean, I'll be looking to call Erin's neck of the woods my home for a bit too.
Erin has it all: a talent for illustration, an appreciation for nature and a culinary knack that truly sets her apart from others. Check her out on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.
Saludos,

Oh my friend, why oh why did you have to move to Puerto Rico? All this tasty food and no one to help you eat it! Come back & let's be roommates again :)
