menagerie: wandering in summertime fields

Something I always loved about living in a part of the country with actual seasons was that subtle change from spring to summer. Everything was still green but with a hint of dusty beige, and the wildflowers would be blooming for months alongside the country roads. You could drive for miles and still be surrounded by the soft yellows, pinks and oranges. I cannot imagine a more beautiful summertime scene then to just run through fields of flowers and tall grasses without a care in the world.

What is your favorite thing to do with wildflowers from the summertime? Do you dry them or press them? Perhaps just enjoy them in your home? Do you have wildflower garden at your house or any special place like in the photos above?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Saludos,
