I do dabble in the arts as well. You can view some of my work in the above photos. Most recently, I've worked with clients to create custom business cards on smoothed ocean stones, for promotion and personal purposes. I can also utilize my own designs for this creation if you choose this outlet for business cards.
I also play around with mixed media. I have two pieces from a Travel The World series, one that recently sold (the other remains in my home). I plan to create several more pieces from this series that will be for sale. I do have postcards of both current pieces in my Etsy shop.
All my creations and design occur in the off-time from researching, or when I need a break from science. However, as you may have noticed, science and nature are never far from the mind in my artwork. I choose to incorporate nature in any way possible, may times using it as the canvas itself - such as my embroidered reef art.
